Small Business Tax Preparation in Aurora, Colorado

Your business return is not a form to fill out. It is the one document that decides what you keep this year and what you set up for next year. We prepare business returns for owners across Aurora, Denver, Parker and Centennial, and we do it with your books, your entity and your next twelve months in view.

What we prepare

How the process works

  1. Intake. We ask for your books, bank statements, payroll reports, 1099s issued and received, and last year return. If your books are behind, we tell you what it takes to catch up first.
  2. Review. We look for the deductions owners most often miss: home office, vehicle use, retirement contributions, health insurance for S-Corp owners, startup costs and the qualified business income deduction.
  3. Entity check. If your structure is costing you money, we show the numbers for an S-Corp election before you file, not after.
  4. File and plan. Returns are e-filed, you get a copy, and you leave with an estimated payment calendar and the two or three moves that lower next year.

Deadlines for Colorado business owners

Partnership and S-Corp returns are due in mid-March. Sole proprietor and C-Corp returns are due in mid-April. Colorado follows the federal dates. Extensions give more time to file, not more time to pay, so we calculate and pay the estimate by the original date.
